James P. Cooper III, Partner
Mr. Cooper has been practicing in the area of criminal defense for over 20 years, and he has tried several hundred jury trials, including capital cases, murder, sex crimes and robbery cases.  Mr. Cooper is experienced in the defense of complex crimes such as death penalty litigation, white collar offenses, RICO matters, major narcotics, and issues concerning professional licenses.  In addition, Mr. Cooper is an experienced appellate attorney, and he has handled hundreds of appeals and writs in both state and federal courts.

Mae G. Alberto, Esq.
Ms. Alberto has been working with Mr. Cooper since 2004.  Ms. Alberto has experience in all areas of criminal law in the state and federal courts, including but not limited to, trial preparation, law and motion, and death penalty appellate litigation.  While Ms. Alberto was in law school, she worked as a law clerk in juvenile justice and as an extern for the Honorable Judge Consuelo B. Marshall, United States District Judge.
